Special Risks have an exclusive contract with the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) which provides a Pro-Secure Personal Accident Insurance Policy for every professional footballer in England and Wales (approx. 4000)

We provide Personal Accident Insurance for individual footballers, this covers players against Permanent Total Disablement (career ending injury).  The cover provided is 24 hours a day and on a worldwide basis.  Each quotation is calculated on an individual basis, and is underwritten by Axis Managing Agency Ltd, at Lloyds of London.  If a player’s career ends through injury he will receive a tax free lump sum, subject to policy terms and conditions.

We also provide insurance for individual footballers against Temporary Total Disablement, for temporary loss of wages for players or clubs for example for a player who is injured and unable to play for 6 months.
